Lament
Lights up on office.
It is the end of the day. Millie leaves the office, and walks back to her flat (follow spot lighting). As she does so, Cara enters her flat and hangs her night club dress on stand (unseen). Sound effect as Millie turns the key in her door. We hear a sad lament from the flat opposite (lights up dimly on Cara. She has her back to the audience).
Lights down.
Cara exits stage left (taking her night club costume with her)
Jeremy enters stage right and throws coat on Millie`s desk.
